Well, here she is! I finally got my Tiger I all buttoned up. This is the Dragon Model "Initial Production" kit and one of the most enjoyable builds I have had the pleasure to do. This kit goes together superbly and I HIGHLY recommend it!
Next up is the 1/48 scale Hasegawa A-4C (I made the "L" out of it from the parts in the kit.) Another incredibly fun construction project. Fit was excellent and I encountered no problems. Another HIGHLY recommended kit. The decals are Eagle Strike and worked very well. I did have to hand paint the red, white and blue colors though.
Last, but certainly not least, is the Hasegawa 1/72 F-14D Tomcat. Now, this kit was by no means easy to put together or without NUMEROUS problems! The intakes were warped and this kit took copius amounts of Filler putty to finish! One intake is almost entirely shaped with Bondo auto body filler to make it look right. But when all is said and done it turned out better than I had hoped and I was real pleased with the finished model. I am working on a 1/48 version of this girl and hopefully will not run into what I did that little lady over there.
