This is the A.M.T. Kit of the runabout Rio Grande. This model was built for a customer in Virginia and won several awards on the contest circuit before being delivered to him.
This is the "Snap Tight" tie model kit from MPC. This finished model won me several awards including placing 3rd in the Regionals held at Warner Robbins a couple of years back. Several "enhancements" were added to this kit including a few scratchbuilt items to complete the piece. (This model is now in the collection of a private collector.)
This page is dedicated to the model building part of my business. I build Museum quality models for people across the country of any subject they wish. The prices vary depending on the project size and deadline requirements. Please contact me for a price quote and I will be happy to do what I can to help you.

I had been hearing the praises of Pollyscale Acrylics and decided to give them a try. This is the finished product using Pollyscale. What do you think? I think I am going to stick to the 'ole Model Master Testor's Enamels. I just like those better, they seem to stand up to a lot more abuse than acrylics! (This model is now owned by a client in a private collection.)
This is the Hasegawa Alcock and Brown Phantom. Paint is Model Master with a mirror base to show underside detailing. The decals had a lot of problems so I had to do some custom painting to make everything look right. (This model is now in the private collection of a collector in England.)
This is the 1/72 scale Hasegawa Phantom with a Verlinden/Scratchbuilt cockpit. This was a very enjoyable model to put together. I would recommend this kit to anyone!
This is the Pro-Modeler P-38E Lightning from Monogram (actually Hasegawa) and was a pretty good build. I did have some trouble with the engine nacelle/wing root mating areas (lots of milliput there). I did a great deal of experimentation on the weathering of this model but I was pleased with the results. I did very well on the contest circuit. (This one is now in the ownership of a private collector.)
This is the Minicraft Mk.II Merkava in 1/35 scale. I did a lot of painting experimentation (using Model Master Sand and Armor Sand and several hand mixed shades of grey added to thos colors) and weathering with a very subtle hand to get to the finished product you see here. This one also did very well on the contest circuit including the S.C.A.M.P.S. award at the Virginaia Shootout put on by Roanoke Valley IPMS (top notch contest and folks up there!)

Again, this one is now in a private collection.
This is the Monogram 1/48 F9F-5 Panther dressed up in the markings of the "Golden Dragon Squadron" featured in the movie Bridges of Toko-Ri. The artwork (the Grumman Panther Logo) for the base is artist ink on illustration board (as you recall, I am an aviation artist when I am not building models!)     This model was built straight fom the box with the addition of a pilot from the spares bin. I tried tp paint him to look as close to William Holden as I could. This model also did well for me on the contest circuit and as you guessed, is in the ownership of a private collector.
This was the Hasegawa 1/48 Val featured in my model review page. I enjoyed building this one and will probably build another sometime in the future with different markings. I won several awards with this old girl and as you probably already guessed, this one is now in the ownership of a private collector as well.
